#CatmasEve Party for Black Cat Rescue
We at The Hotties (HotMBC or House of the Mostly Black Cats) and George the Duck have been throwing a Chrissymouse Eve party for online friends annually. This is our 6th year of having a blast together so no one has to sit alone on Christmas Eve even if they don't celebrate it, are far from loved ones, or whatever the case may be.
Through 2008 the chat parties were held on Chatzy, for our cat blogger friends, and still are. However, in 2009 the #Pawpawty team volunteered to help out to add Twitter as a party venue. 2011 is the third year that we have had concurrent parties running on both chatzy and twitter. Being the House of the Mostly Black Cats, we love black cats. We are sad, though, that they are only half as likely to get adopted because of their color. So we like to ask folks if they have any couch change to give, they toss it in the "tip jar" for Black Cat Rescue, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charity that focuses on helping black cats find forever homes.
